Team News | Noor Al-Rawabdeh Sustains Anterior Cruciate Ligament Injury

Selangor FC's midfielder, Noor Al-Rawabdeh, was confirmed to have an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury in his right knee in a recent match against PDRM FC in the 2024/25 Super League.

According to Dr Hazwan, Head of Selangor FC's Sports Medicine Department and The Team Doctor, Noor was diagnosed with an ACL as soon as the MRI results were released yesterday.

"Preliminary assessment on the field in the PDRM FC match during the day has confirmed initial suspicion that Noor has suffered a serious injury and thus been brought out of the game immediately.

"Noor had experienced pain and swelling in his knee before the examination. Yesterday, the diagnosis was confirmed that he had an ACL through an MRI . So far, he will undergo pre-operative training before the surgery that will be planned in the near future. He is expected to take up to 9 months to return to the field," explained the Doctor.

Noor's absence in the Red Giants camp and also the Jordanian national squad will surely be felt strongly. According to Nidzam Jamil, Head Coach of Selangor FC, in a press conference just now, “The absence of a character like him has an impact on the team because he is the vice-captain of the Red Giants and he is always involved in every movement of the team's game. He has played an important role for us.”

Selangor FC prays that Noor will stay strong and believes he is fully capable of overcoming this challenge and that the club will always be with him.

May Allah ease your rehab journey, Noor!
